Oil worker treated after electric shock offshore

AN OIL worker was yesterday being treated in hospital after suffering an electric shock on an offshore platform. The man was airlifted from the Dunlin platform, north east of Shetland shortly before 5pm on Thursday. A second man was taken to Gilbert Bain hospital in Lerwick hospital and treated for shock.

It is understood he was affected after seeing his co-worker get an electric shock.
