Offices make room for hotel

PLANS have been approved to turn a Victorian villa in West Coates into a hotel.

Architects firm McLaren, Murdoch & Hamilton has been given permission to turn its offices at 2 West Coates into a hotel, and demolish existing outbuildings to make way for a two-storey extension on the side.

The upstairs floors have already been converted from a restaurant. The extension will be given a slate finish to match the existing building.
