Officer given school post

A POLICE officer has been assigned to Broughton High School to help tackle bullying and antisocial behaviour.

Pc Greig Stephen was appointed as school link officer, whose remit is to work with pupils and staff.

Pc Stephen said he hoped to have a positive impact on young people and help reduce the number of incidents and crimes in the school and the local community.

He said "I am thoroughly enjoying my new role working with staff and year groups to ensure that the school is seen in a positive light."
