Office closure set to be net gain for estate agents

ESTATE agency Lindsays is to close a branch office as it focuses on building its online presence.

The Edinburgh-based firm is to close the Bruntsfield Place office and move its operations to within its head office on Canning Street. It said that the online part of the business has become much more important, reducing the need for its "high street" office location.

Managing director Mark Coulter said: "Moving that operation into our head office in the city centre will offer greater convenience and access for all of our clients from across the city."
