Off-licences plan revealed

A NEW chain of off-licences is promising to open outlets in Edinburgh and Currie within the next six weeks as part of a drive to open 50 stores and create more than 300 jobs across Scotland.

Scottish company BrandInvestGroup has already opened 15 off-licences trading under Winehouse and Cellar No.1 brands, with six more due to open before the end of October.

The Edinburgh and Currie shops will be Winehouse outlets.
