Objectors fail to stop house

PLANS to build a new house in the garden of an existing Morningside home look set to win approval despite a raft of objections.

The new house and shed is proposed for the garden of a terraced house at 20 St Fillan's Terrace.

Around 20 people wrote in to city planners to object.

But officials have recommended that the plans are acceptable, although councillors will make a final decision at a meeting tomorrow.
