OAP treated after fire

AN 80-year-old woman was treated for smoke inhalation after food caught fire at a house in Carrick Knowe Road yesterday.

The woman was treated at the scene by paramedics and did not need hospital treatment. Firefighters extinguished a pan of food after arriving at the house just after 2.50pm.
