OAP attacked and robbed outside shop

A PENSIONER was pushed to the ground and robbed of a four-figure sum of money in a "nasty assault" as he left his shop in Edinburgh.

The 72-year-old was outside the Londis Convenience Store in Clovenstone Park, Wester Hailes, at about 11am on Monday when the stocky man, about 5ft 5in and aged 18-20, attacked him. Police are appealing for witnesses.
