Nursery’s fate in balance

CONTROVERSIAL plans to close a nursery at St John’s Hospital in Livingston will be put under the microscope tonight.

The proposal to shut the Tik Talk nursery, which mainly looks after children of hospital staff, was announced by NHS Lothian this month.

It will be one of the items on the agenda at a public meeting of the Action to Save St John’s Hospital group, which takes place at 7.30pm at the Kaim Park Hotel in Bathgate.
