Note of discord as vuvuzela makes comeback in Delhi

YOU had thought you had heard the last of them. But the horn which shattered the enjoyment of World Cup players and fans worldwide, is to make a comeback for the Commonwealth Games in Delhi.

But Suresh Kumar, chairman of Premier Brands - the official merchandise partner of the games, which run from 3-14 October, said: "We Indians have always liked noise. When our families get together, our neighbours can hear us (talking). "

It is unclear whether the instruments will be allowed inside stadiums at the games.

They have already been banned from UEFA competitions and Olympic Games 2012 chief Sebastian Coe does not want them at the event in London.

In India, fears have also been raised.
