North East residents face loss of water supply

Scottish Water have reported that some residents in Peterhead have experienced an interruption to their water supply.

They are currently investigating the issue on-site but say interruptions to water supplies are usually caused by a water mains pipe bursting.

Residents in the area may experience low or intermittent water pressure and some may experience no water supply at all. Scottish Water added that those currently with water in the area may experience it being discoloured.

Scottish Water provide updates on incidents through their social media channels with the next update expected at 8:30am on Monday 11 May.
