BRITAIN's smallest police officer has hit the streets in Tiverton, Devon, measuring just 5ft tall. Robin Port, 29, joked that his size means he can take out the legs of any criminals, but what he lacks in size he makes up in strength.

The former soldier has martial arts training and is confident he can hold his own, after making 17 arrests so far.
