Nigerian radicals issue warning

A radical sect blamed for killings in north-eastern Nigeria has vowed to fight until Muslims "regain their freedom all over Nigeria."

In a statement released yesterday, the group known as Boko Haram called on the Nigerian government to embrace Islam, drop the constitution and adopt the laws in the Qur'an. The warning comes amid post-election rioting elsewhere in the north.
