Nigeria: Three killed in voter registration fight

Three people were killed in central Nigeria yesterday when soldiers opened fire to quell a fight over voter registration.

Soldiers opened fire at a school being used as a registration centre after a group of Christian youths tried to stop Muslim officials delivering materials for the April poll.
