Nicola turns TV judge

NICOLA Roberts is following in Girls Aloud bandmate Cheryl Cole's footsteps by turning TV judge.

The singer will appear as a guest panellist on Britain's Next Top Model on Living next week.

Meanwhile, Cheryl Cole has been forced to miss some of her judging duties on The X Factor as she fights her way back to health after being struck down with malaria.

Ms Roberts will appear alongside presenter Elle Macpherson to mentor the modelling hopefuls.

She will be seen guiding them through a photo shoot for children's charity Beatbullying.

Like Cole, Roberts already has first-hand experience of being a reality show contestant, having hit the big time by winning a place in Girls Aloud on Popstars: The Rivals.

Since then she has launched her own cosmetics line.
