NHS staff and buses hailed

LOTHIAN Buses has been praised for the level of service it maintained during the severe winter weather.

NHS Lothian chief executive James Barbour has written to the company expressing the organisation's gratitude in helping staff and patients get around throughout November and December.

He said the buses were "instrumental" in helping the NHS keep some kind of order as people struggled to move around the Capital.
