NHS services translated

THE services offered by NHS Lothian are to be translated into 17 languages.

A new project will see a DVD released and a website created offering people the chance to learn about the health board in their own tongue. It will also assist those with low literacy skills and deaf people.

Health secretary Nicola Sturgeon said it would be useful for people arriving in Scotland.
