NHS boost as JCBs move in

HEALTH chiefs have revealed their delight at work beginning at the site of a new hospital.

NHS Lothian bosses said they were "glad to see JCBs" in Dalkeith in preparation for the new Midlothian Community Hospital.

The manager of the Midlothian Community Health Partnership, Gerry Power, said the 18 million hospital would bring a range of new services once it is up and running in October.

Mr Power said:

"There has been 40m of investment in Midlothian over the past six years and this will be the jewel in the crown."
