Newborn puppy left lying on pavement

ANIMAL welfare workers issued an urgent appeal yesterday after the discovery of a newborn puppy lying on a pavement.

A member of the public contacted the Scottish SPCA after finding the black female pup in The Orchard area of Tullibody, near Stirling, on Wednesday between 4pm and 6pm.

The charity has appealed for information on who may own the newborn dog.
