New tricks to healthy food

SCHOOLCHILDREN in East Lothian have been tucking into "Magic Spaghetti" to learn about healthy eating.

Pupils at Prestonpans Infants and St Gabriel's RC Primary Schools tucked into a special lunch which combined tasty food with important healthy-eating messages. The event followed a trip last month to see the Magic Spaghetti show at the Brunton Theatre.

Councillor Ruth Currie said: "The show introduced healthy-eating messages in an innovative and imaginative way."
