New take on mountain biking

WORLD record-breaking cyclist Mark Beaumont scaled Edinburgh International Climbing Arena with his bike to help launch Edinburgh Mountain Film Festival.

The EMFF runs from October 21-24 at the city's George Square lecture theatre, with special events at the Ratho arena including a talk from the round-the-globe biking hero.
