New system at tourist office

A NEW self-service booking system is being piloted at the Capital's busiest tourist information centre.

The new system, which has been introduced at VisitScotland's Princes Street tourist centre, allows visitors to search online and book accommodation in Edinburgh and across Scotland.

The free service, which will be on on 12 computers, is designed to help visitors avoid standing in lengthy queues.
