New leads in search for missing man

Police officers searching for a man missing for a week have spoken to more than 500 people in a bid to gather fresh information.

Drivers of 150 vehicles were stopped and approached as part of the on-going search for Ross Ramsay. Officers focused on the areas where the 30-year-old sound engineer was last seen on the night of 14 February, namely Glasgow’s Argyle Street, Charing Cross and Sauchiehall Street.

Mr Ramsay left his wallet and phone at the Gala Casino on Suachiehall Street.

A spokeswoman said: “The response was good, providing information to follow up on.”
