New homes’ doors open

AN official ribbon-cutting ceremony to mark the opening of 18 new homes in Prestonpans was due to take place today.

Half of the development comprises social housing, with the other nine premises set for shared ownership by Dunedin Canmore.

The new homes were built by local builder R Rollo and Sons, which previously owned the site and brings the total number of homes on plot to 26.

Nearly £2 million was invested in the project.
