New drug rules for NHS

NHS LOTHIAN has been given fresh guidelines by the Scottish Government on prescribing drugs. The move means the end of postcode lotteries for treatments.

Health secretary Nicola Sturgeon said:

"All boards will be expected to follow the same guidance."
