New daily flight for city

BRITISH Airways is set to add an extra daily flight between Edinburgh and London City.

The new service, operated by BA CityFlyer, begins on May 2.

Luke Hayhoe, of BA CityFlyer, said: "We have had the Edinburgh-London City route since 2003 and it continues to be a very popular route."

Kevin Brown, managing director of Edinburgh Airport, added: "Announcements like this show aviation is still the choice of business and leisure passengers."
