New chief for City joggers

A CAPITAL-based organisation which works to promote running has appointed a new boss.

Billy Mitchell, a keen runner himself, will lead Jogscotland into its second decade.

Mr Mitchell, formerly a project manager at Scottish Enterprise, said: “I’ve come to Jogscotland as it completes its first ten years of activity – and what an incredibly successful decade we have to build on.

“It’s an exciting time to be encouraging people to get active.”
