New boss at building firm

THE company behind the development of the former Edinburgh Royal Infirmary has appointed a new boss.

Gladedale Capital, which is currently working on the 450 million Quartermile scheme, has promoted Paul Curran to the role of managing director.

Mr Curran has been with the firm for five years since joining as project management director. He said: "I look forward to taking on my new role at Gladedale Capital. Quartermile continues to go from strength to strength and we have some fantastic projects currently in development, making this a very exciting time for the company."

When complete, Quartermile will feature more than 300,000sq ft of office space, 55,000sq ft of retail and leisure space, and more than 900 new and converted apartments.
