Network firm makes move on new office

A COMMUNICATIONS network firm is to move into the former office occupied by the housebuilder Applecross.

The office, at Lochside View within Edinburgh Park, became vacant when the Edinburgh developer collapsed.

JDSU, which provides communications test and measurement solutions, has opted to move to the office from its existing South Queensferry base.

Ben Reed, a director at property firm Jones Lang LaSalle in Edinburgh said: "The former Applecross suite at 7 Lochside View will enable JDSU to move staff from South Queensferry later this summer as the suite was already fitted out to a high standard.

"Edinburgh Park was regarded as the ideal location due to its proximity to local infrastructure and public transport."

Toby Withall at GVA Grimley, joint agent for park owners New Edinburgh Limited, said: "JDSU is a welcome addition to the strong line-up of occupiers we have already secured at Edinburgh Park.

"The fact that they were attracted by the connectivity and truly exceptional high quality environment is testament to the efforts and investment by New Edinburgh Ltd over the years."
