Nestlé faces strike over wage freeze

THE threat of industrial action by thousands of workers at chocolate giant Nestlé is set to move a step closer, with Unite union leaders expecting strong support for a strike ballot, it emerged yesterday.

Officials said there was a "very strong feeling" a consultative ballot on action in protest at a pay freeze would win backing. The result is due this month.
