Namesakes fly the flag for Capital

THE Capital's Clipper yacht briefly crossed paths with HMS Edinburgh as it sailed the seas.

The Clipper, which is set to take part in a round-the-world-race, will see a ten-strong relay team of transplant patients from across the UK race boats from across the world.

HMS Edinburgh was on her journey south to visit a variety of countries off the west coast of Africa and arrive in the Falklands in mid-July. The destroyer is currently deployed to conduct maritime security patrols around the British South Atlantic Islands and is due home in December.
