Mystery blaze hits college

An INVESTIGATION has been launched following a fire at a college accommodation block.

The blaze broke out at about 9:20pm on Thursday in the block at Perth College.

Firefighters attended and extinguished the fire. No-one was inside the building at the time.

A Tayside Police spokesman said: "There is no initial indication that the fire was deliberately started. However, we are making inquiries into the cause of the fire.

"If you saw anything unusual in the area at this time or if you have any other information about this fire, please get in touch with Tayside Police."
