MSP wants science centre tower probe

AN MSP has called for an inquiry into the £9 million rotating tower tourist attraction at the Glasgow Science Centre, which has stopped working a number of times and is not open this year.

Sandra White said the situation was "ridiculous". A spokeswoman for the centre blamed "technical issues stemming from its original design".
