MSP hails pupils' construction challenge win

LOTHIANS SNP MSP Ian McKee has tabled a motion in the Scottish Parliament hailing Broxburn Academy's success in winning the 2011 Construction and Built Environment Challenge.

Ten 13 to 14-year-old pupils assembled a garden shed, tiled a replica roof and solved plumbing and electrical challenges to take the title.

The motion also applauds the 230 Lothians pupils who took part in the regional heats.
