MP’s warning on fraudsters

Livingston Labour MP Graeme Morrice has backed a new campaign urging consumers to look out for fraudsters trying to cash in on people’s enthusiasm for big sports events.

The Good Sports Don’t Fake It campaign urges people to choose shops and websites carefully and keep a copy of orders and receipts.

Mr Morrice said: “Criminals see sports events as an opportunity to cash in on unsuspecting consumers.”
