Braemar Mountain Rescue Team tweeted that they had been called to help two walkers on Ben Macdui, the second highest mountain in Scotland.

One of the walkers is understood to have sustained an injury to their leg, although it is not known how serious it is.

Air support from a coastguard helicopter had to be grounded due to mist, with conditions in the area were ‘very wet’.
