Motorcyclist hurt in crash

A MOTORCYCLIST who was hit by a car in the Capital has been taken to hospital.

The 57-year-old man suffered an open fracture to his right leg in the accident on Corstorphine's Forrester Park Avenue at about 1pm yesterday.

Two ambulances and a rapid response unit attended the scene, outside Forrester High School. A spokeswoman for the ambulance service said: "He had an open fracture to his right leg, which means the bone was sticking out of the skin."
