Motorcyclist hurt after collision with car

Police have appealed for witnesses after a motorcyclist was injured in a crash.

A 24-year-old man has been seriously hurt after his motorbike collided with a car in West Lothian.

The incident happened at about 5.20pm on Saturday on Bathgate Road, Blackburn, at its junction with Ash Grove.

Police said the man the motorcyclist had sustained “serious injuries” and was being treated in hospital.

The road was closed for five hours to allow for collision investigation to be carried out and police are appealing for any witnesses to the collision to contact them on 101.
