Motorbike and van stolen in garage raid

A MOTORBIKE and a van were among items totalling £25,000 stolen during a break-in at a garage.

Officers said a Ford Transit Connect and a Yamaha R6 cycle were stolen from the business in Edinburgh, as well as alloy wheels, power tools and two computers.

The incident is said to have happened between 8:30pm on Monday and 8:15am on Tuesday at the Edinburgh Central Cars Garage in Bonnington Road Lane.

Staff turned up for work on Tuesday morning to find there had been a break-in and noticed that a number of items, including the two vehicles, were missing.

Lothian and Borders Police appealed for information.
