Mother challenges murder conviction

A MOTHER convicted of murder after injecting her brain-damaged son with heroin, told the Court of Appeal she feared he would die in agony and hoped to end his life "peacefully and painlessly"?.

Frances Inglis, 58, from London, who was jailed for life in January, believed 22-year-old Tom was in "constant pain", the court was told. Inglis is challenging her conviction.
