Monk arrested for carrying tobacco

Bhutan police have arrested a Buddhist monk for carrying 72 packets of chewing tobacco, in the Himalayan kingdom's first case related to its severe restrictions on tobacco.

Bhutan allows people to import tobacco for personal use, but charges a 100 per cent tax.
