Model makes catwalk shortlist at grand final of talent contest

AN aspiring model from the Capital has made it through to the final of a national competition.

Edinburgh-born Lynn-Marie Fital, 22, has been named as a Grand Finalist in the Top Model UK 2010 competition.

She was chosen from more than 3,000 entrants to make the final 25 for the commercial section of the awards. And now she is set to travel to London for the televised final next month.

All the finalists will be put up for a text vote to win the title of "the nation's favourite model", with all proceeds going to the Children with Leukaemia charity.

The competition is the largest runway fashion show event outside fashion weeks, The final will be held on Sunday, 14 March, at the London Hilton Metropole.
