Model admits knocking child down

A SCOTTISH glamour model has admitted careless driving after she injured a seven-year-old boy by knocking him off his bicycle at a pedestrian crossing.

Sarah Foggo was driving through Leuchars in Fife when she ran down the child.

Cupar Sheriff Court heard the 19-year-old had driven into the boy on 4 November last year.

The teenager was driving a car with no MOT when she hit the child, who was crossing the road on his bike.

Foggo, of Linkie, St Michael's, Fife, pleaded guilty to a careless driving charge.

She also admitted a further charge, that her car had no MOT certificate at the time of the incident.

Foggo pleaded guilty by letter to the charge, and was not in court yesterday.

Sheriff Charlie Macnair said: "Sentence will be deferred for her to appear personally and to produce her driving licence."

Foggo will appear in court again next month.
