Mobile library assistant gets service honour

A MOBILE library assistant has been honoured for her work in bringing books to local communities.

Cecilia Murray, who works as an assistant in charge on the mobile library serving Dirleton, Stenton, Innerwick and West Barns in East Lothian, has won a commendation from the Chartered Institute of Information Professionals.

Ms Murray, who lives in North Berwick, has worked for the East Lothian Library Service for 22 years.
