Missing woman found safe

AN elderly woman who went missing from her home has been found safe and well.

Marjory Ferguson, 80, was returned to her house in Clermiston late last night after going missing at about 10am yesterday.

She had arranged to meet a relative at 12.30pm at Shandwick Place, but never arrived. It was believed she had intended to catch a bus to the city centre.

Police and family members had appealed for help in tracing her amid concerns for her safety.
