Missing Scots woman found '˜safe and well'

A Scottish woman who went missing from her home on Saturday night has been found safe and well.

Nicola Dingwall was last seen leaving her Coatbridge home around 6pm and concerns were growing for her safety.

The 33-year-old was described by police as dealing with some “personal issues” and left home “distressed”.

Bus, taxi and rail firms to were alerted in the hopes of finding her, while an appeal was put out to the public.

She’s since been found in the Glenboig area.

Lanarkshire Police Division released an update through their Facebook page: “Thank you for sharing our post on Nicola Dingwall, who was missing from her home in Coatbridge. She was traced safe and well in the Glenboig area earlier this morning. Thanks again.”
