Missing salesman body is discovered

A BODY, believed to be that of a missing computer salesman, has been found.

Gavin Fern, 30, whose disappearance sparked Britain's biggest online missing person's search, has not been seen since leaving his Glasgow flat almost three months ago. His disappearance was the subject of an unprecedented Twitter search and the details were passed to an estimated two million accounts, thanks to support from celebrities including Lorraine Kelly, Sarah Brown, and Davina McCall.

However, Fife Police said yesterday that "initial indications" suggest a body found in the Blairhall area of Fife around mid-morning on Saturday is that of Mr Fern.
