Missing man safe and well

A MAN reported missing after he failed to return home from work has been found safe and well in the Highlands.

Police appealed for help in tracing David Headley, from Bridge Street in Newbridge, who had been last seen working in Coatbridge, North Lanarkshire, on Wednesday evening.

Mr Headley failed to return home and had not contacted family or friends. Officers carried out inquiries to locate the 46-year-old and believed he may have gone to Sutherland.

A police spokesman said that Mr Headley had been found in Wester Ross.
