Missing hospital patient found dead

The body of a man recovered from a canal has been identified someone who went missing from hospital.

Sandy Gerrard, 69, was last seen more than a week ago on the A803 road near Kilsyth had been reported missing from Bonnybridge Hospital.

There are no suspicious circumstances.
