Cecilia Thomson. 85, had been reported missing on Sunday night from the Praesmohr House care home on the outskirts of Aboyne.

Police Scotland had issued an alert, starting that the elderly pensioner might appear “slightly confused or disorientated” and requesting local residents to check their sheds, garages and out houses to ensure that Ms Thomson had not entered the buildings accidentally.
